2014 FCB/FCX Food Drive Success!

On November 15, 2014 numerous FCB and FCX players, coaches and parents participated in the clubs most successful food drive to date as they gathered food and donations from local grocery stores to give to both the Barrington Food Pantry and the Cuba Township Food Pantry. The event was a smashing success and it is estimated that we collected close to 20,000 items for needy people in the surrounding communities. The club was able to work with 6 different locations this year along with the two food pantries.

A special thanks to organizer Colleen Dunkel and the numerous players/families that donated their time for such a worthy cause. Director of Coaching, Stuart Peek said, "As I have said before, it is in my opinion, beyond important for us all to spend some time giving back to our community, and the players that helped were just first class today, I was beyond proud of them, watching them during the day."
